That isn’t a figure of speech or a carefully worded way of saying “not much”. As of 17 September 2026, this site has no contact form, no analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels, no embedded videos or maps, and no fonts or scripts loaded from anywhere else. Your browser asks our server for a page, the server sends the page, and that is the whole transaction.

What that means in practice

No cookies. You won’t see a cookie banner because there is nothing to ask you about.
No analytics. We don’t know how many people visit, which pages they read, or where they came from.
No third parties. Nothing on these pages is loaded from another company’s servers, so nobody else sees your visit either.
No account, no sign-up, no form. There is nowhere on this site to type anything.

Our hosting provider

The site is hosted by a third-party hosting company, which keeps its own server logs. Like almost every web server in the world, those logs record things like the address of the page requested and the IP address it was requested from. We don’t read those logs and we don’t use them to build any picture of you, but they exist, and it would be dishonest to claim otherwise.

If you contact us

If you email us or message us on Facebook Marketplace, we’ll have whatever you send us — your name, your message, and however you got in touch. We use it to reply to you and to arrange a bike, and nothing else. We don’t add anyone to a mailing list without asking, we don’t sell or share contact details, and we don’t pass them to anyone for marketing.

Messages sent through Facebook are also handled by Facebook, under their privacy policy rather than ours.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you’ve never contacted us, the answer will be that we hold nothing.

If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk.

Who we are

Children

There is nothing on this site for a child to fill in, and we don’t knowingly collect information about children. If that ever changes, this page changes with it, and we’ll say so plainly.

When this changes

If we add anything that collects information — a contact form, a newsletter sign-up, or analytics — we’ll rewrite this page before it goes live, not afterwards, and change the date below.
